Preventative and Diagnostic Treatments
Digital X-rays and thorough exams
Digital x-rays means less radiation for the patient, and larger, more diagnostic images for the Dr. to evaluate.
Cleanings and basic periodontal treatments
Removes plaque and calculus deposits from the teeth that you cannot remove on your own with your toothbrush and floss. Helps prevent periodontal disease or ensures your current periodontal condition doesn’t get any worse.
Oral Cancer Screenings
This screening is performed at every 6 month examination. Early detection is key to improving long term prognosis if you were to be diagnosed with oral cancer.
Mouthguards
Prevent injuries to the teeth and soft tissues during contact sports, especially important for those wearing braces.
Sealants
A protective coating applied to permanent teeth to help prevent tooth decay in the hard to reach places, the deep pits and grooves on the chewing surfaces of teeth. Typically done at around 6, and 12-14 years of age when the permanent molars have fully erupted.
Restorative Treatments
Tooth-Colored Fillings
An esthetic, can be directly bonded to the tooth, and allow for more conservative preparation of the tooth.
Crowns
A full coverage “cap” that helps strengthen and restore cracked teeth.
Implant Crowns and Bridges
These restorations can be used to replace a single tooth or multiple teeth.
Full Dentures
These removable appliances replace an entire arch of missing teeth. Dentures give a person something to chew with, speak with, provide support for a person’s cheeks/lips, and give a patient a smile to be proud of again.
Partial Dentures
A smaller version of a full denture. It is utilized to replace multiple teeth when a person still has some natural teeth remaining.
Implant-Supported Dentures
Makes chewing with dentures a breeze by making a precise connection of the denture to dental implants which are anchored in the jaw bone. Retention of the denture is greatly increased by snapping the denture onto the implants. Additionally, when implants are placed, the amount of bony ridge that shrinks away is decreased dramatically.
